MUSIC: Pmartt - Flexin 4 U

PMARTT is a Cameroonian Pop and Hip-Hop sensation, residing in Chicago. While he can perform solo, he is sometimes accompanied by a 3-piece band (Bass, Electric Guitar, and a drummer) and/or 2-3 dancers. He blends the fun and eclectic Pop sounds with a melodic hip-hop crossover. His style is fueled by his West African culture, as well as EDM, Reggae, Pop/Top 40, and alternative Hip-Hop influences.

PMARTT has played locally and nationally (with both major and local acts) including at Fest of Life, WGHC Fest, and South By Southwest Festival in Austin Texas. He is scheduled to perform this July 28th in Silver Spring, MD at the Cameroonian Music Festival. PMARTT is also a cast of MTV’s “Time’s Up” reality series which aired in over 7 countries. He has done many radio and podcast interviews, but two of his latest were with Cascade.FM in New York and Radio One Chicago 88.7 FM. His recent single, Another One, featuring Maryland rapper, Jus Chase, was released in December and the official video is available on YouTube with almost 10k views.

The song is a smooth Pop/World sound with a catchy, and melodic vibe to it. It is about flexing, being bold, going all out; for someone you care about.
