Celebrating Unity in Diversity through Art and Culture

The Unity in Diversity Project by Fola David is a groundbreaking initiative, dedicated to exploring and promoting the multicultural essence of Nigeria.

This project, which features the documentary titled “Road to Record,” aims to preserve and showcase Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage through the creation of the “World’s Largest Drawing by an Individual.” It also seeks to celebrate our tribes through the hashtags “#RepYourTribe #RYT.” The primary goal of this project is to celebrate the Nigerian people, reminding them of our rich cultural heritage and the beauty that lies in our unity and peaceful coexistence despite our different ways of life.

The world record project will not only serve as a reflection of our cultural identities but also as a medium for fostering understanding and unity among Nigeria’s diverse tribes, promoting peaceful coexistence.

During the six days of the record-breaking attempt, there will be cultural presentations at the stadium featuring the National Troupe of Nigeria, showcasing dances and music from different parts of the country. The official dress code for the event is “cultural,” allowing participants to either represent their tribe or celebrate any aspect of Nigerian culture with their attire. For those who cannot attend in person, the hashtag #repyourtribe can be used online to post tribal outfits, food, or anything representing their culture.

Dr. Fola David, a celebrated visual artist and medical doctor, will spearhead this initiative. Known as the “doctor by day, artist by night,” Dr. Fola David has gained national and international recognition for his speed painting performances and his humanitarian work through the Fola David Foundation.
